Penetration Tester

Your new company
New Zealand’s top law enforcement sector is in process of extensively expanding their Security team. They are looking to hire multiple cybersecurity professionals to join the new team in different roles in full time permanent roles.


Your new role

The role to contribute to ensure the cybersecurity aspects of the project as whole and also:

  • Identity and authentication methodologies and lifecycle management
  • Modernising our technology stack
  • Conduct security and network audits to evaluate how well an organisations system conforms to a set of established criteria.
  • Design tests to break into security protected networks, computer systems and web-based applications to look for vulnerabilities.
  • Document your findings, write security reports and discuss solutions with stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder engagement


What you'll need to succeed

As a pen-testers you’ll be expected to day to day activities and :

  • You’ll be managing stakeholders and would surely need sturdy communication skills, especially superlative report writing abilities
  • You’ll need to be an expert in FFUF, BurpSuite, Nmap, Impacket
  • Your expertise in automation and tool development using scripting language would be a plus
  • You’ll be working in a core team and would require you to have in depth understanding of frameworks namely NZISM, NIST, CIS
  • Having certification like OSCP, eCPPT is a mandatory as well
  • Excellent knowledge on pentesting standards and methodologies like OWASP & OSSTMM is a must
  • To top it all you’ll need to possess right mind-frame and an inclusive & positive attitude
